雲走了，霧散了。這片谷地剩下的僅有一汪清淺，和些許青荇。湖邊的森林看著旅人來來去去。留下照片，帶走回憶；留下歡笑，帶走美景；留下寶藏，帶走了什麼呢?獵人沒有回應，只是微笑著看著湖面，看著蕩漾的水波。或許三十年前，當人們第一次見到這個山中小湖時，也一樣看著這樣的景象吧。在遙遠遙遠的以後，還會有人來造訪嗎?還會有人被記得嗎?沒有人知道，但我相信下一個來到這裡的人，應該就會稍微懂一點我的感受了吧...
棲蘭池位於宜蘭縣大同鄉，是一個被群山包圍的幽靜小湖。比起過於熱鬧的松羅湖，我認為這裡更擔得起「十七歲之湖」的美譽。整座湖邊幾乎沒有汙染，湖水相當清澈。而湖邊也沒有高密的芒草阻路，你可以赤腳踏進湖岸，享受軟軟青苔的觸感。或是悠閒地躺在湖邊，仰望藍天白雲。這裡沒有髒亂的垃圾，也沒有喧囂的人群，只有山、湖和蛙鳴陪伴著你。建議在湖畔露宿一晚，更可以體會這座小湖的美麗。
然而，要到達這裡可不輕鬆。傳統造訪棲蘭池的路線就是大名鼎鼎的巴棲松縱走。從明池出發，第一天先陡上後登頂標高2144公尺的新北市第二高峰巴博庫魯山，在這裡你可以享受360度的完美展望。登頂後就是沿稜縱走至棲蘭池。我相當喜歡這段路的景色，天氣好的話邊漫步在林下邊欣賞ˊ周圍的巨木是相當棒的感受。來到棲蘭池後可以露宿在此，盡情享受這裡的美景。第二天一開始就是艱苦的陡下，不過在下到南勢溪源頭後這裡將會給你另一重的驚喜。在這段沿溪下溯的過程中，你可以飽覽這條未受汙染的野溪風光。無論是湍急的溪谷，優美的河灣或是氣勢驚人的瀑布應有盡有。在行近一兩小時後即可抵達附近的另外一座山中湖泊--松羅湖。松羅湖的面積更加驚人，但是也更加難以親近，在造訪這裡後再走5.4k好走的步道即可抵達登山口。雖然這條路路跡清楚，布條不缺，但是還是建議攜帶足夠裝備和熟讀地圖記錄，以免發生意外。
Located in Datong Township, Yilan County, Kilan Lake is a quiet small lake surrounded by mountains. Compared to Songluo Lake, which is too noisy, I think it can afford the reputation of "17-year-old lake". There is almost no pollution in the whole lake, and the lake water is quite clear. And there is no high-density miscanthus to obstruct the road by the lake. You can walk barefoot into the lakeshore and enjoy the touch of soft moss. Or lying leisurely by the lake, looking up at the blue sky and white clouds. There is no messy garbage or noisy crowds here, only mountains, lakes and frogs accompany you. It is recommended to sleep on the lakeside for one night, so that you can experience the beauty of this small lake.
However, it is not easy to get here. The traditional route to visit Kilan Pond is to walk along the famous "Baqisong route". Starting from Mingchi, you should climb over the second high peak of New Taipei City, Babokulu Mountain, which is 2144 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy a perfect 360-degree view. After climbing to the top, walk along the ridge to Kilan Pool. I really like the scenery of this section of the road. If the weather is good, walking under the forest and admiring the surrounding giant trees is a great feeling. After arriving at Kilan Pond, you can sleep here and enjoy the beauty here. The next day is a arduous steep descent from the beginning, but after descending to the source of Nanshi River, this place will give you another surprise. During this period of tracing down the stream, you can enjoy the scenery of this unspoiled wild stream. Whether it's a swift valley, a beautiful river bay or an amazing waterfall. After walking for nearly an hour or two, you can reach another nearby mountain lake-Songluo Lake. The area of Songluo Lake is more amazing, but it is also more difficult to get close to. After visiting here, you can take a 5.4k easy trail to reach the mountain trail. Although the trails on this road are clear , it is recommended to bring enough equipment and read the map records to avoid accidents.
