Geocache Description:

If you take a gander at my cache hides, you'll notice a lot of Mystery/Puzzle caches in the mix. I love being creative in crafting a geocaching puzzle for my fellow cachers to enjoy. However, I'm also aware that some folks have difficulty with the puzzles...they find it hard to get into the "Gamer cranium"...and so, while trying to solve some of the puzzles, they feel tempted to bang their heads repeatedly against a wall (or perhaps to bang MINE...)

Well, I CARE, y'know? I don't want any harm to come to your heads; I don't want any harm to come to MY head; I don't want any harm to come to innocent, never-hurt-anybody walls, either. So, in some of my caches -- such as "GAMER'S QUEST 11: Interesting facts", "Thank You!" and "Geocaching Primer #2: Tools Of The Trade" -- I've incorporated (or offered) hints for OTHER cache puzzles of mine.

And that's what THIS puzzle is all about! As a special holiday gift, I present to you "Solving Puzzles"! Check out the image entitled "Puzzle!" at the end of this cache write-up (underneath the links for online maps) and you'll see two columns. In the left column, you'll find hints for how to solve 14 Gamer puzzles; in the right column, you'll find a list of 19 Gamer puzzles (so, obviously, 5 aren't needed for this puzzle). The puzzle names have numbers next to them. As with most Mystery Caches, the posted coordinates are fake...but if you match the hint with the correct geocache, you'll have, in order, the 14 digits in the TRUE coordinates for this geocache hide. To help you out, below I will include alphabetically-ordered links for all of the caches included in this puzzle.

Now, I'm quite aware that most people won't have solved all of these puzzles. However, with at least half of them, you can determine the match pretty easily, even if you haven't solved them. That will provide about half of the coordinates. For the other coordinates, savvy geocacher puzzle-solvers, knowing that the final solution to a puzzle can only be within 2 miles of the fake posted coordinates, will be able to use process-of-elimination to narrow down the possibilities. The way I've designed this puzzle, the hardest numbers to come up with will usually be matched with the easier-to-identify caches. And, of course, along the way you'll be getting hints for those other caches that might allow you to solve some of the puzzles that have been thorns in your side and, thus, prevent further head and wall injuries.

Note: If you do not like spoilers, you probably shouldn't work on this puzzle........

Good luck...and cache on!
