This cache is hidden just off the path along a disused railway. This part of the walk feels a little more wild and secret. It is just off another path running from the woodland path. If coming from the metal gate turn right up the dis used railway path - the tracks have disappeared here, but further along you will see so tracks and old railway sleepers.
This is a small clip lock box cache placed by me and my kids. This little woodland was planted when the adjacent housing estate was built, and it is maturing into a wonderful little nature spot within easy reach, to escape for a while. My kids and I worked on these 3 caches during the 2020 COVID lockdown, and we chose here, as this space helped us to get some fresh air and get away from screens for a while, which was much needed. We rode our bikes around here, found rope swings, and had a fab time watching the changes through the seasons.
There might be a little swappable toy to be found in the cache. We hope you enjoy this space as much as us.
