Geocache Description:

We enjoy visiting cemeteries while out Geocaching so decided we'd place one here. Cascade Township Cemetery actually contains Cook Cemetery that was moved within its' boundaries in the summer of 1966 under the direction of a Special Memorial Commision and the Township Board.

Cook Cemetery originally sat on six tenths of an acre that is now the intersection of 28th Street and I-96.The oldest stone from Cook Cemetery is dated 1850 and the most recent were in 1905. The Cook Cemetery stones are the other side of the parking from the cache near the black fencing.

Per cemetery rules no night caching and please be respectful while searching for this cache. First set of coordinates were bringing people to a large split tree containing a letterbox, that is not the cache.
