Welcome to Patricia Sprague Preserve. You can walk the entire Preserve circle in about 30 minutes (1 mile). The paths are were wide and well maintained in 2020, but as of June 2022, the right path is a bit overgrown. The name of this cache has some history.
I have been here a number of times. I would drive by Carter Preserve and see 2, 4, sometimes more, cars parked there. When I would get to Sprague there were never any cars. I noticed that there was no online geocaching map of the Preserve's trails and nobody had gained permission to place caches. Even the parking area was not shown on the online maps. It is a beautiful area and I decided to learn how to get permission and add mapping.
The mapping is done, and caches are set.
PLEASE tell your friends! Visit often! Trails are on openstreetmap.org. I hope to learn to make these available elsewhere on line. Trail is very easy. This is a hidden gem.
