One of Ray Bradbury's best known works. More of a fantasy/horror genre but it still gives me creeps when I hear fall leaves being blown along the street at night. That and creepy little carnivals.
You will go along a nice part of the extended Alpine Trail in Portola Valley. Keep to the higher route rather than walkiing along the roadway. All of the caches are placed within a few feet of the trail and there is no need to go near the road.
Please replace as found and beware of muggles. This trail can be busy at times although this extended area is less busy. Cycling and hiking the trail are good choices.
