Whitbeck Church serves a small scattered farming community at the base of Black Combe. The mainly traditional services are held each fortnight. The ancient building was refurbished in Victorian times (1883) There are extensive views of the coast and the Irish Sea from the church door, and Black Combe from across the road, or along the adjacent lay-by. It is a Grade 2 listed building. Unfortunately it is not open at all times.
