Create a puzzle cache to celebrate Bajatym's big birthday? Uh-huh. Solving puzzle caches has been the bane of my geocaching life, which is embarassing because in a past life I actually created a game to raise money for charity where players had to solve puzzles, decrypt clues, get passwords from "spies" and find items hidden in the city. Each game had about 7 puzzles and we played in 4 different cities.
I thought ah-ha! I'll recyle the puzzles from that game so I pulled them out and brushed off the cobwebs. Hmmm, I couldn't actually solve a lot of the puzzles any longer, so back to the drawing board (no cracks about getting old, please!). Then I thought I'd do 60 real easy puzzles, one for every year, and when Muggle Hubby asked "Are you crazy????" I realized it would take me forever to make them. Back to the drawing board visit #2. Next thought was one puzzle for every 10 years - 6 puzzles for Bajatym. I got 5 puzzles figured out then realized that was pretty much all the ideas I had and what if I wanted to do 1 more puzzle? Once more to the drawing board - effort #3! Okay, divide by 3 and make it 2 puzzles. Nope, we're going to go with just 1 puzzle. Phew, after all that can I remember the solution?
The geocache cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
BT60 caches are honoring a well-known Orange County Cacher, Bajatym.
