"Have Mustang Willl Travel"
The Idaho Mustang was found in Boise, Idaho and flew here with my caching buddy, I'mlost360, when she returned from from visiting family for Thanksgiving in 2020. Please leave it in the cache and take a different one.
Mustangs are the original "Wild West" pony decended from the 16-century Spanish horses introduced by the Conquistadores. In 1959, President Eisenhower signed into law a bill that made it illlegal to kill the Mustangs. There are wild herds in several of the western states including Idaho. They are managed by the Bureau of Land Management and the Department of the Interior. Marguerite Henry wrote "Mustang Wild Spirit of the West" telling how the Mustang's protection act was accomplished.
