Die heute noch teilweise von Güterzügen befahrene Bahnstrecke verlief von Wurzen nach Eilenburg. Die Strecke wurde vor allem als Anschlussbahn zu den Steinbrüchen in den Hohburger Bergen erbaut. Dies ist eine von 16 Brücken der gesamten Strecke.
