מצפה ינון
ינון יוליס בן הישוב טלמון נולד ב1998. למרות שנולד עם אי ספיקת כליות כרונית לא איפשר למחלתו למנוע ממנו דבר. הוא הרבה לטייל בארץ ואהב את את שביליה ומעיינותיה. במשך 3 שנים נאבק כדי להתגייס בהתנדבות לצה"ל עד שזכה לשרת בתפקיד מש"ק מודיעין בסיירת אגוז. ינון התאפיין באהבתו לעזור לכל אדם באשר הוא, בשמחתו שהדביקה את כולם ותמיד שולבה בעמידה על על עקרונותיו וערכיו, ובהתמודדותו עם מחלה שלא מנעה ממנו לשמוח ולעזור. ינון נהרג בתאונת דרכים ב 26/10/18
תצפית זו הוקמה ע"י חבריו של ינון ומשפחתו. ממנה ניתן לצפות על העמק בין טלמון לדולב שבמזרחו ניתן לראות את הישוב הערבי עין קיניה ובתחתיתו עובר נחל דלבים ע"ש עצי הדולב המזרחי שזה גבול תפוצתם הדרומי. הנחל הוא אחד מיובליו של נחל מודיעין שבהמשך נשפך לנחל איילון ומשם לים. עד לפני כ30-40 שנה הוא היה נחל איתן והמים זרמו בו גם בקיץ, היום עקב השאיבה באזור עין קיניה הוא זורם בעיקר בזמן גשמים, אך עדיין ניתן למצוא בריכות עם מים באביב ולפעמים אפילו בתחילת הקיץ. מול התצפית רואים את הישוב דולב ומתחתיו את הכרמים של תושב דולב ומתחת לתצפית את מטע הזיתים של תושב טלמון ולידו סככה עם בית הבד שלו
הישוב הוא ישוב דתי. אנא כבדו את תושבי המקום ואל תגיעו עם רכב בשבתות וחגי ישראל.
Mitzpe Yinon (Yinon lookout)
Yinon Yulis, was born in Talmon in 1998. Although he was born with chronic kidney failure, his illness did not prevent him from doing anything. He traveled a lot in the country and loved its trails and springs. For 3 years he struggled to enlist in the IDF until he was eligible to serve as an intelligence NCO in the Egoz unit. Yinon was characterized by his love of helping every person wherever he was, in his joy that affected everyone and was always combined with standing up for his principles and values, and in dealing with an illness that did not prevent him from leading a full and happy life. Yinon was killed in a car accident on 26/10/18
This observation was built up by Yinon's friends and family. From here you can view the valley between Talmon and Dolev. In the east you can see the Arab settlement Ein Qiniya and at the bottom Dlavim stream which got its name from Oriental Plane trees (Dolev in Hebrew and Dileb in Arabic), which is the southern limit of their distribution. The stream is one of the tributaries of Modi'in Stream, which later empties into Ayalon River and from there into the sea. Until 30-40 years ago it was a solid stream and the water flowed in it even in summer. Today due to the pumping in the Ein Kinia area it flows mainly during rains, but you can still find pools with water in spring and sometimes even in early summer. In front of the lookout you can see the settlement of Dolev and below it the vineyards of a resident of Dolev. Below the lookout there is the olive grove of a resident of Talmon and next to it a shed with his oil press
The settlement is a religious settlement. Please respect the locals and do not arrive by car on Saturdays and Jewish holidays.
