The church in Loxbeare is dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels. It has a stunning rustic Norman doorway and a solid old door. The keystone of the interior doorway is inscribed with the words "AILMAR FECIT DOMUM" which reportedly means 'Allmar made the house'. It has a magnificent old tower, possibly from the twelfth or thirteenth century, but subsequent renovations mean it's impossible to accurately pinpoint when it was constructed.
The headline coordinates will take you to a cobbled area in front of the gateway to the churchyard. You'll need to collect some information there and then locate a couple of graves.
The date inset into the cobbled area in front of the gate is 1AB0
Proceed around the church in a clockwise direction (to the left after you've come in through the gate). Look at the window on the left hand (western) side of the tower which is made of small coloured panes of glass.
Ignoring the small edge framing pieces, each window is 8 panes tall and C panes wide.
Continue around the rear of the church. Towards the rear hedge there is a War Grave dedicated to H.A. Atkins
His regimental number is 1D1E858 and he was only F1 years old when he died.
Finally, proceed to the eastern side of the church. You're looking for a grave that faces away from the building and relates to Wilfred Dalling and his wife Ina.
Ina died GH years to the day before this cache was hidden.
The cache can then be found at:
