Mapping Memorials to Women in Scotland is a website (http://www.womenofscotland.org.uk) which was created to record and map the many memorials which commemorate the lives and achievements of women in Scotland.
There are geocaches at some of these memorials already but I thought I would set some more based around memorials that currently don’t have a cache.
This memorial garden contains two large stones listing 21 famous Fochaberians, including Ethelreda Baxter, who founded Baxters with her husband William, and Jane Maxwell, Duchess of Gordon, who raised the Gordon Highlanders regiment in 1794.
