Syrah (/ˈsiːrɑː/), also known as Shiraz, is a dark-skinned grape variety grown throughout the world and used primarily to produce red wine.
You may be asking why wine in Ministik??? Let me assure you that (whine) can come to mind when on a trek following VP (so thankful he puts up with us), but the true reason has more to do with certain challenges (especially of the Bear kind).
Now for some fun facts about not only this bold red wine, (and "bear" with me) but also how it relates to geocaching and the CO's...
1. Shiraz wine has many names...the SWP (SheWolfPack) also has had a few different monikers. Some not fit for this cache page.
2. Shiraz wines have spread throughout the world...members of the SWP have travelled far and wide (we've been accused of being so loud people hear us before seeing us) in pursuit of the ever elusive smiley.
3. Shiraz wine has many health benefits...the SWP has been my key to staying sane in spite of the craziness of 2020.
4. Shiraz wine ages well...lets just say that the SWP sometimes acts younger than our age (we have a strict policy that no one tells our famillies of the latest geo-folly)
5. Shiraz wine makes for many interesting blends. Geocaching has brought together this group of gals and formed one of the tightest bonds of friendship I've known.
