The concept of triage is defined in Wikipedia as follows. Patients with little prospect of recovery would be given lower priority.
Triage in an urban development context might be applied to Shangya Jie. Not everywhere can be an interesting, attractively landscaped and appealing street. Some are doomed to be just boring streets saturated with parking and deadened accordingly.
Recently, though, there are signs of pushback from the community to this fate for Shangya Jie, with implementation of shops and more pedestrian-friendly street design aspects in early stages. The cache is well-placed to keep an eye on developments as the area aims to catch up with the rest of Liuyun Xiaoqu.
