Old Yard aka Rest Stop Humppila
How Geocaching Works

This is an old typical Finnish building with beautiful surroundings.
There was a reporter from Forssan lehti and she wrote an article about Geocaching.
The rest area along the highway 2 at Humppila is quite huge, and there are lots of things to see, do and buy there: gas, food, candy, glass, shoes, books, clothing, salmon fishing, direct sales, just about anything. The old yard where the cache is hidden, is quite close to the rest stop area. There's also an undercrossing under the highway, so it doesn't really matter on which side you park. Of course, it's possible to drive closer to the yard too, if you find the way.
MAINTENANCE NOTE 27.3.2004: As the municipality of Humppila did some maintenance at this old yard in summer of 2003, the stairs, under which the container was hidden, were removed, and the cache was lost.
Later, a non-geocaching friend of Divine happened to visit Humppila's town engineer, and he noticed a plastic box on the engineer's shelve. As there read 'geocache' on the side of the container, he recognized it immediately, and told Divine about it.
Divine asked the town engineer if it's ok to rehide it in the old yard, and as the permission was given, he received the original container, and the cache is again ready to be found at Kauppila old yard in Humppila. Big thanks go to Vesa R. who rescued the cache from the town engineer's shelve, and of course also to the engineer and the maintenance crew, who were kind enough to keep the container once they found it.
As the cache is too far from the original hider Katvil to be able to keep maintenance, Divine adopted it.
