We placed this cache on New Years Eve 2020. Looking ahead to the New Year 2021, and reflecting on the year that was. This is our first Cache. The two youngest members of our family named this Cache. Bottle Lake Plantation is our nearby walking and mountain biking playground. We have been fortunate enough to escape the worst of the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic, here in Aotearoa. But we are missing our family living across the sea. This is our wee tribute to how 2020 has panned out for many. Walk up the main track, 28th Ave. You will pass a mountain bike track, then you will come to a walking track. Turn right onto the walking track. Once you reach two trees, one on each side of the track, you will head left into the trees a short distance. Tree cover is thick and may affect your gps co-ordinates. When the cache was placed, there was a log book, pen, geocaching explanation card, ftf trackable, book mark, and key ring.
This is the humour of a 9 and 11 year old. Sorry if you are offended, this is placed as a humourous reflection on 2020. ( NOTE: offensive item removed as we couldn't keep it attached)
