This is a small park on a hill overlooking the dock where the battleship Yamato was built. The monument where the statue disappeared and only the pedestal was used to donate metal during the war and the tower of battleship Yamato tell the story of the relationship between the war and the city of Kure.
ここは戦艦大和を建造したドックを見下ろす丘の上にある小さな公園です。戦争中に金属を供出するために銅像がなくなって台座だけになってしまった記念碑や、戦艦大和の塔が、戦争と呉の街との関わりを物語っています。
