Razložena vas z gručastim jedrom leži v dnu Mirnske doline, severozahodno od Mokronoga, na terasi nad reko Mirno, med cestama, ki peljeta iz Mokronoga proti Hrastovici in iz Mokronoga proti Puščavi. Na zahodni strani teče potok Savrca, ki izvira pod Zabukovjem in se v bližini izliva v Mirno. Ob vasi so njive na Mliški, Štajngrobu in Na hribu, travniki na Loščah in Pod bregom ob Savrci. V severozahodnem delu vasi so leta 1965 zgradili hleve, danes je tam večja perutninska farma. Cerkev sv. Nikolaja (sv. Miklavža), ki se prvič omenja l. 1526, stoji na planem gričku nad vasjo. Stavba je ohranila ostanke poznogotske arhitekture v tristransko zaključenem prezbiteriju s talnim podzidkom, v šilastem slavoloku in gotskem portalu v zahodni steni. Ladja ima raven strop, prezbiterij pa banjo s sosvodnicami. Glavni oltar je l. 1877 izdelal A. Kušlan, podobar iz Novega mesta. Na seznamu kulturne dediščine je tudi Vila Amerikan in domačija s hišno št. 25. Po zadnjih podatkih (Popis prebivalstva 2020) živi v njem 118 prebivalcev.
The ruined village with a clustered core lies at the bottom of the Mirna Valley, northwest of Mokronog, on the terrace above the river Mirna, between the roads leading from Mokronog to Hrastovica and from Mokronog to the Desert. On the west side flows the stream Savrca, which originates below Zabukovje and flows into the Mirna nearby. Next to the village are fields on Mliška, Štajngrob and Na hribu, meadows on Lošče and Pod bregom ob Savrci. Stables were built in the northwestern part of the village in 1965, today there is a larger poultry farm there. Church of St. Nicholas, first mentioned l. 1526, stands on a flat hill above the village. The building has preserved the remains of late Gothic architecture in a three-sided finished presbytery with a floor foundation, in a pointed triumphal arch and a Gothic portal in the west wall. The nave has a flat ceiling and the presbytery has a bath with co-vaults. The main altar is l. 1877 made by A. Kušlan, a painter from Novo mesto. The list of cultural heritage also includes the Villa Amerikan and the homestead with house no. 25. According to the latest data (Census 2020) it has 118 inhabitants.
