This cache is hidden at a small beautiful beach called Wimbie Beach in Batemans Bay. The cache is located close to the beach carpark and has room for tbs and swaps. Happy caching!
Wimbie Beach (NSW 538) occupies the southern corner of the bay. It is 300 m long and curves around to face northeast, then north against the boundary rocks. Waves average about 0.5 m and combine with the finer sand to maintain a low gradient reflective beach. The beach is backed by houses, with a small usually blocked creek-lagoon behind the southern corner. Parking and good access is available together with a small picnic area which is sheltered from southerly winds.
