Was enjoying a mini break in the lovely area of Kamo , and thought you may like some new easy trads in the area !
Suitable for beginners and young families.
This was a surprising chunk of forest with some massive trees really close to Karaka Estate .
I parked at about 269 Fairway Drive and walked back to an entrance near the roundabout .
I avoided going near the house .
This time I picked a giant monster of a tree for the hide .

Parts of this tree are kind of horizontal !
No climbing required ...but there are a couple of handy rocks available to step on while you make the find.
Please don't bring dogs as Karaka berries are everywhere at this time.
Enjoy pottering around here ...kind of away from it all... but not!
