The Lobster Fishers of Ballantyne's Cove (LFOBC) Series is based on a photographic record of the women and men working in the lobster fishery of Ballantyne's Cove in 2017. Cassie MacGillivray and Kathryn Collicot wanted to take a snapshot in time, to preserve this way of life on film and on the internet for future generations. It was published in the People's Archive of Rural Nova Scotia on October 22, 2018. All photos of the men and women were taken by Cassie MacGillivray and Kathryn Collicot.
