Located on Lake ave in Grand Haven
Claimed to be one of the most haunted cemeteries in the entire country.
Established in 1873 it is said that over 22,000 souls are buried here. Many crime related deaths as well as over 1,500 buried in mass graves in potters field. People have reported seeing "oil slicks" floating in the air in this area.
The body of Kate Koopman is buried here. Murdered by her husband in a local shop, she is said to haunt it still.
They say that the Blue man floats on top of Ferry hill where the founding Fathers of the town are buried. It is said to be the ghost of Rev. William Ferry standing guard over the hill and the whole cemetery At the bottom of ferry hill (which is the center of the cemetery) is a set of crumbling stairs and is known as the stairway to hell. If a soul approaches the top of the stairs and sees a white light then they go to heaven, if they do not see the light they are doomed to walk back down the stairs into hell. There have been recordings strange temperature drops on the stairs as well as geomagnetic disturbances.
There is also talk of a Phantom gateway or a mysterious unknown exit on lake ave. those that have happened upon it never find it again
