Welcome to Blue Heron park! This park was where we found one of our first geocaches ever, before the fire took with it so many homes and memories.
The Great Blue Heron watches as recovery efforts continue. The playground has been cordoned off, but will be reconstructed soon. The nearby community gardens, with portions of its fence burnt and repaced with caution tape, shows signs of new life as seeds take to sprout and passionate gardeners tend to the soil. Charred and fallen trees have been marked for removal, and warnings signs posted ask visitors to stay on the path. With the support of the community, this blue heron will soar once more!
