Beautiful natural wonder on the way to this cache. Small kids need to be supervised very closely due to terrain.
Left our first cache in a small ammo box in one of our favorite places. We have included lots of clues in the description due to the poor GPS coverage on this trail (the reason will be evident once you get there).

Go to Big South Fork Recreation Area/Stearns Visitors Center in Stearns, KY (N 36, 42.214 W 84, 27.976). You will need to get a map of the Big South Fork Recreation Area to get your first clue on how to get there (hint* cache's name will tell you were to head to). Once at the park, start heading down trail. When you see the sign for the "Loop steps" follow it (steps are very steep, watch kids closely!). Past this point your GPS will go in and out...don't worry it'll come back. As you are walking and nearing the park's namesake, take note of a wooden bridge to your left below you, you'll see this again near the cache. Enjoy the area and continue on the trail. When you come out from underneath the bluff the trail will fork. Take the trail to the left going down. You will hit several switch backs, just keep heading down and then across a stream. Your GPS should be okay from here.
