Flag of Tajikistan

The flag of Tajikistan was formally approved on November 24, 1992. Tajikistan's flag still shows colors from its unique republic flag, when Tajikistan Flag was a portion of the former Soviet Union. Red is from the Russian flag; green is representative of its agricultural foodstuffs, and white characterizes the cotton crop. The centered crown with seven stars signifies the country's freedom.

Tajikistan's flag uses a alike color arrangement to the flag of Iran as the Tajik persons are ethno-linguistically Iranian. These colors have been formally used to signify Iranian peoples since the 19th century.
