This series has caches of various sizes and difficulties throughout the trails at Kinsey Park, placed by permission of the Peoria Park District. There are some larger, more family-friendly caches which were initially stocked with swag and a few travel bugs - and also some bisons and pre-forms with room for only the log and a coin or two.
These trails are maintained by volunteers from PAMBA - http://www.pambamtb.org/kinsey-park . Trails are well-marked, and no bushwhacking is required to get from cache to cache. Some trails may not be open every day, depending on conditions. Please respect any trail closure signs - it's best to hike when it's dry, or frozen. And stay alert for cyclists, as the trails are actively used by mountain bikers.
Please also follow the usual rules for contents of caches (no food items, and no inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials).
