Wonderful to be Wandering in the Waitakeres , in some shade on a warm summers day !
Happened to be walking down the Beveridge Track to revisit some previous finds with a newish Geocacher ....When I noticed there was space for another cache on this trail !
No sooner thought than action was taken !
Parking for this track is at the Arataki Visitors Centre 300 Scenic Drive in the Waitakere Ranges.
It is a lovely well maintained metalled track ...easy to walk along.
Interesting info boards; and a blocked off tunnel nearby....Plus quite a few other caches nearby. Also an Ad Lab or two!
I suggest you make time to check out the Visitors Centre and Shop which are well worth a visit.
The cache is a medium sized camo taped plasic honey pot. Please Bring your own pen.
Look for the Triplet Punga trees on your left going down....Please recover well with natural debris.
