Can you imagine living somewhere so ornately opulent? This beautiful complex was once one home, a gift from a wealthy developer to his daughter, Mildred. It was completed in 1930 for a total of $700,000. Built by Miles Frank Yount, founder of the Yount-Lee Oil Company, he made his fortune during the second Spindletop Oil Boom of 1925. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and designated a Texas Historic Landmark in 1999.
Today, it houses a number of apartments, shops and boutiques where you can dine, peruse the antiques, find baubles and bliss, and the explore latest fashions.
Note: You do not need to go past or reach through the fence to access the cache.
