VERY ICY winter conditions. Rough off trail terrain.
Room to explore. Room to track wildlife. Room to hike or walk to dog. This area has a variety of things happening. There are cottonwoods along the river bank, wetlands that catch the run off from rain storms, and grass and shrub areas in between. All can be homes for a variety of critters. And the cultivated field reminds us that we need areas for growing food too.
This cache is one of five new ones, added to the existing ones already established in Ranchlands. If you needed an excuse to hike this area, now you have it. And the name?? Well, there is still room for more caches so we left 1 and 2 for someone else. Go for it.
