There was a little bird in the forest that enjoyed the glen that was its home. There were plenty of worms to eat and a pond nearby for splashing. The forest also held plenty of sticks and twigs for nest building. There was enough food and a secure environment for the bird to flourish. It didn’t have to worry about the drought or flooding and predators that would normally threaten it. This was a kind of refuge for the bird that also allowed the creature to be most comfortable and relaxed. The little bird spent its days flying from tree to tree, feeding on fruits, and chatting away with other birds that lived in the area.
