Geocache Description:

An often overlooked area of Garland Park that, untill now, has not been graced with a geocache. This area erupts with color during the Spring and Fall seasons and in the Winter becomes barren and almost spooky. The terrain is easily traversed over what used to be part of the Carmel River bed. There is no need for bushwacking to find this cache and there was no PO when I stashed it. Please take care as you cross the road if yiou are parked in the Garland Park lot. Traffic zooms through the area but there is ample view in each direction.

The Carmel Valley Fire Department occasionally utilized this area for rescue training and could be seen rappelling down the cliff from Rancho Fiesta Road. Otherwise, there is very little foot traffic and you should not have a Muggle problem.
