Additions to the Mt. Walker Power Trail, placed in 2020/2021. Not necessarily randomly collected containers, these are bought or purposfully selected to last. These are technically in Lower Mount Walker.
This is a nice easy set of caches along Rosewood-Warrill View Rd. As a child, I used to drive through Mount Walker and the surrounding areas with my parents on the way to visit relatives. More recently, I learned to drive along these roads.
In 2017, I completed an eight hour return walk from Rosewood Train Station to a point four hours south along Rosewood-Warril View Road. Two and a half hours of this was filmed, an excerpt of which can be viewed on Vimeo.
This spot is a good spot to stop and recheck logs, distanced etc before tackling the rest of the caches in this trail. The hide itself should be easy enough to spot. If you have any difficulties, check the hint.
PARKING / ACCESS - Decent parking close to the cache on the eastern side of the road.
