Geocache Description:

28 February 2021, 08:30 - 10:30

The Logan City Council have been kind enough to help plan a CITO event at the Eagleby Wetlands, a major environmental park creating quite a lot of environmental activity around the various lagoons here adjacent to the Albert River.

They have allocated space for a 180 tubestock wetland planting.  All holes will be pre-dug and equipment provided.

You, as a participant, will need to wear sun-safe clothing, bring adequate drinking water (minimum 1 litre as it can be hot there), wear fully enclosed shoes and bring a pair of gardening gloves.

All current QLD Health COVID restrictions will be met for the event.

The meeting point will be the Oliver Sports Complex, 293 Logan St, Eagleby.

The published coordinates will take you to the top (circular) car parking area.

A reasonably early start at 8.30 am to avoid the heat of the day.  Conclusion time is 10.30am.

There are quite a few geocaches in the area to extend your geocaching activity for the day should you so desire.
