Geocache Description:

The Fifth Continent

This cache is one stop on a circuit that leads you around Romney Marsh, taking in Old Romney, New Romney the Rhee Wall, Wallingham Sewer, Caldecot Petty Sewer, White Kemp Sewer and numerous fields, farms and footpaths and tracks. There is no particular start and finish location, choose a point that suits you. The walk has been set up to follow a clockwise direction due to the inclusion of a number of multi caches. There is parking in both Old Romney and New Romney. Old Romney offers pub and cafe facilities, while New Romney has a whole high street of shops and eateries to help you plan you day.

There are three points in the circuit where you will need to cross the road, the A259 twice and also the Romney Road. Both roads are busy and traffic moves fast. There are also a few short sections along quiet lanes... and if you find yourself in a field please watch out for machinery and livestock.
