Geocache Description:

A virtual cache in Queenston

I've been meaning to introduce this virtual cache ever since I saw DecoDoppler's "End of the Trail" back in August. It occured to me that since I'm almost sitting on top of the other end, it should be represented too. Make your way to the above coordinates and you will find the cairn that marks the southern terminus of the Bruce Trail. On the cairn, there is a four digit number, a three digit number, and an ordinal number that's printed out. Write these down as Answer A.

As you guessed, there's more. It occured to me that the cairn's text may be available somewhere on the net and you may be able to get the information without leaving the comfort of your home. Not a chance.

Climb back into your vehicle and make a short drive to N 43' 09 736, W 79' 03 268. There you will find what I call "an ornately carved and artisticly inspired commemerative sculpture" Yup, it's a big, ugly rock. Chiseled into the stone, you will find the answer to Question B: Who placed the stone and when? (He must have been a pretty robust guy. I would need a lotta help!)

Since there are two other commemerative items nearby, answer a third, and final question. Question C: What was the name of Gen. Brock's horse?

Email your three answers through my profile. I will send you a confirmation reply and you can log your find.

If you haven't already done so, please check out DecoDoppler's "End of the Trail" page. His comment about the signifigance of The Bruce is more briefly eloquent than I could ever hope to be.
