The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Instead, this is a Letterbox cache (more details below) which is acting like a puzzle. You will be shown the coordinates for the final treasure whilst you are visiting the Templar relic at Mearns Parish Kirk during the 'Raiders of the Newton Mearns' wherigo. Remember to put them in your adventurer's bag for later on.

A Letterbox hybrid is a form of geocache which shares similarities with the Letterboxing hobby. The container holds a stamp which should stay in the geocache please. From a geocaching point of view there is also a standard logbook for you to sign. A Letterbox cache can act as other cache types such as a traditional or multi cache (it's the stamp rather then cache type that is important). On this occasion, this Letterbox is acting as a puzzle cache. The stamper is in it's own protective container. Please do not remove the stamper from the cache thinking that it's a swap.
The final cache is in a woodland strip. Waypoints are available in the wherigo cache page to help with parking and access. The paths can be muddy in places and wiggle around a bit. Probably best to wear boots unless after the driest spell.
