Fort Frederick Heritage Preserve officially opened on February 12, 2021 (address: 601 Old Fort Rd, Port Royal,SC). Fort Frederick (Southern most British fort) was build in 1730-1734 to protect the area against the Spanish. It remained open until 1757. The park is open dawn to dust.
