The dictionary defines it as something that acts as a magical weapon, especially one that instantly solves a long-standing problem. It is also the name of a werewolf horror film (apparently a bad one), based on a novel by a famous author. I have even heard the term used to refer to a certain beer, in a silver can of course. In this case, it simply refers to the appearance of the cache container.
