Although the roots of geocaching started with the first Geocache hidden on May 3rd of 2000 in Oregon, United States by Dave Ulmer we here in CNY have a great history of our own.
A little background on us, CptRob is my brother. We have both just recently retired, CptRob as an engineer and myself as a head pressman, and have been teaming up to solve puzzles so it's time for us to team up to put one out for you.
We started caching by chance in 2016 and have met in person, spoken, cached and messaged with many cachers over the past four and a half years and have enjoyed learning of the diversity of cachers backgrounds that make up this great game. Some are engineers, military, teachers, students, salespersons, medical professionals, bankers, daycare operators, sanitation specialists, electricians, graphic artists, cashiers, law enforcement, programmers and everything in-between just to name a few that make this game and caches great!
Some have been around since the beginning when ammo cans were the norm and some that just recently joined us and might enjoy LPCs. So we have decided for the 20th Anniversary of caching to mention just a few that have made this game interesting recently and over the years!
The cache isn't at the posted coords so don't bother going there. You're looking for the last four digits of the coords. The paper log in the cache "MUST" be signed to log this cache on line so bring a writing utensil. Please, no hints in your logs or they will be deleted. Thank You!!
