YF Tony & Laura: Well, it looks like this cache location has been compromised, time to pull it up. Went out today and picked up the remnants. We also found airsoft BB's and some CO2 cylinders all along the trail. It was good while it lasted, just shy of 9 years! Thanks everyone :)

Geocache Description:

Time to give back to the caching community! Our first cache...

I didn’t want to get too extravagant with our first hide, so this should be an easy find. You will hike less than a mile roundtrip within the Greensboro trail system, no bushwhacking required. The cache is located just off a deer trail that crosses the hiking trail, but once again, no bushwhacking.

Although there is a sign prohibiting motorized vehicles, there can be a lot of ATV traffic. They know they’re not supposed to be there, so they usually don’t bother anyone. When we walk this trail, our dogs, Casey and Bandit are more interested in the animal scents than ATVers.

Regarding the difficulty, it scored a 2/3 according to the Geocache Rating System, but that seemed too high. Once you decide where to park, there shouldn’t be any problems.
