Yorke Peninsula Council in partnership with Yorke Peninsula Tourism and Coobowie,Edithburgh,Stansbury and Yorketown Progress Assoc,gained funding through the Bushfire Recovery Grant to do the murals.
At time of placing the cache work was still in progress .
Coobowie tank is the only tank in the series.
Themes identified on the tank when complete are
-Causeway sun setting,
-Unique birdlife and birdhide
-Fishing,jetty,ketch and marine life
-Farming history
On the shed are rodeo scenes.
Coobowie was the 1st Port on the Southern Yorke Peninsula.
You don't need to enter any property.
Road is a well maintained dirt rd.
You can easily walk from the center of town to this cache if you wish.
