The Los Flores Ranch Park Tower Trail winds along the northeast side of the park's main ridge line. This trail offers beautiful unobstructed views of the eastern Santa Maria Valley all the way to the Sisquoc wilderness and beyond. The sights and sounds along this trail are probably reward enough but there’s also a geocache at elevation 1146.57 ft just waiting for you to find. DO NOT disturb the adjacent historical monument (which may also be logged on Waymarking.com). DO bring a pen or pencil to sign the log. As in daily life; patience, persistence, perseverance, passion, and purpose will help you reach the prize!
"Just remember, you can't climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets." - Arnold Schwarzenegger
Most of all: Have Fun!
**NOTE: There are 40+ geocaches within or near the park! Cell reception is sporadic so bookmarking or downloading for offline use of this cache listing and others prior to arrival is strongly advised. See this Los Flores Ranch Park Bookmark List.**
All rules apply when visiting the ranch. The shortest route to this cache is via the very scenic Los Flores Ranch Park Manzanita, Valley View, Cut-Off and Tower trails. Total round trip distance from the parking lot is 4.0 miles. There are picnic tables and rest stations nearby at both the Visitor's Center and the Valley View rest area. It's always a good idea to bring your own water.
