There are great views of Tawa to be enjoyed as you're making your way to this cache on the southwestern hills above Redwood Bush. Park at the end of Brasenose Place for this and quite a few other caches in the area. Head up the signposted track to Achilles Close / Peterhouse St. Shortly after a number of wooden steps have been climbed, the Redwood Bush track veers right into the bush (signposted). Do not head into the bush. Continue up the hill on the Brasenose Track (not signposted). At the top you have the option of following the fenceline to the left or to the right. Take your pick.
This cache replaces “Out of Redwood”, the second cache I ever hid. That one was archived in May 2016. The new one is close to where the old one was, and isn’t quite as tricky!
