The cache is a small food jar perhaps 50 yards from the busy crossroads of Ward Road, Long Ridge Road, and Peter's Creek Trail. I've always enjoyed the open vista here, and these nearby oaks provide welcome shade in the summer months.
I recall finding a cache here years ago; turns out it was archived back in 2017 (GCTAHC). I passed by with muggle friends a few weeks ago and decided this spot was still worthy of a cache. So I returned on a later date to hide one of my own.
No bikes or horses are allowed along this little side trail; but it is a short, popular detour for many, especially kids. So be wary of muggles. I hid the cache slightly off the beaten path to avoid accidental discovery from non-cachers, but it's still fairly easy to get to.
