Amuping Ecological Park is a lovely ecological park located near the Amuping Marina (阿姆坪遊艇碼頭) on the northern shore of the Shimen Reservoir (石門水庫) in Daxi (大溪). This is a nice park at which you can relax, have a picnic, and enjoy the mountain vistas and blue reservoir waters. There are also some excellent hiking trails in the vicinity, and if you’re feeling adventurous, there are paddle-boats, paddle-boards, and kayaks available for rent at the marina. Or you can take a ferry or yacht on a cruise around the reservoir. The cache is located about 1.5 meters from the life preserver. Please bring your own pen, and replace the cache exactly where you found it. You might have to be a bit stealthy looking for the cache, as there are often people picnicking in the vicinity, especially at the nearby rest pavilion.
