Welcome to Webster Cemetery, a small and quiet cemetery among the hills of Lewis County, Kentucky. The cemetery is named after the Webster family and you will find a large majority of Websters buried here. There is also an abundance of Moores buried here. The Moores are my relation and I witnessed the burials of several loved ones (two of my great uncles and my great grandmother to be exact) within the cemetery. This quaint little place holds a special place in my heart, as my grandmother grew up not far from here. This cemetery is sort of the family cemetery for her branch of my family. When one arrives they will notice the beauty and secludedness of the area. It is a tranquil place and one that I visit often.
When arriving DO NOT be discouraged. The entrance looks like a private driveway BUT keep going and you will see the small road to the cemetery emerge. Follow it up and park just outside the fence and gates.While here, pay a visit to my Great Uncles, Mark and Mike Moore, as well as my Great Grandmother and Grandfather, Garnet and Cecil Wilford Moore.
You are looking for a medium sized, camoflouged pill bottle that has an official geocaching sticker on the cap. While this cemetery is not visited all too often, be sure to place the cache back and hide it as best as possible so that it is not disturbed. There is a "rite-in-the-rain" waterproof log inside the cache. Be sure to bring your own pen as the cache is too small for one. There are also a couple of small trade items within.
