Grampian Slog (Nelson/Marlborough) Traditional Cache

This cache is very close to central Nelson. It involves a good climb which can only be mountain biked or walked. Walking is a better option. It is steep and places so carry some water.

Location- Close to Nelson, can be accessed from several locations. I recommend parking near the top of Collingwood Street. A photo of the sign is attached.

Cache- 2.6l camo painted snap lock type container. It is near to a location where you will get a great view of Nelson and Tasman Bay.

Contents- Lots of small things in the cache so there is plenty of room for extras. One of Nicks logbooks is in the cache, cheers Nick.

You are allowed here after dark but it would be easier during the day. Dogs are allowed if kept under control, sheep often graze parts of this area.
Other tracks are in the area such as Kahikatea and Fuschia walks.
