Those clever folks at JPL like to hide secret messages in their missions. The last time they sent a rover to Mars, the tracks on the Curiosity rover spelled out “JPL” in Morse code. It had tiny holes dotted in its hollow aluminum wheels to allow Mars pebbles caught inside to escape.
Those holes read “JPL” in Morse code. So when Curiosity roved the surface, “JPL” was stamped in Morse code on the Martian soil (though it was erased shortly after by the Martian wind).
This time they hid some morse code on Perseverance, and also a secret message on the parachute!
Solve our parachute puzzle and find a geocache back on Earth.
