Stanley is Tasmania’s jewel of the north west and offers an easy 4k circuit loop walk along the Tatlow Track and back along the a fabulous beach with panoramic water and town views. Doing an anticlockwise walk, you can extend the loop to take you into the CBD of town for refreshment. This is a very easy flat walk but timing might be necessary for the beach stretch, with an extreme high tide leaving little or no beach. A short detour at the southern end of the loop will take you to some small but fabulous sand dunes. Watch out for vehicles on the beach and watch for muggle walkers particularly on the track where it runs parallel to the golf course. All caches have the log contained within a second [smaller] cache. Please please place rolled logs in lid before re-closing these small containers carefully.
